This gift pack features a 700ml bottle of The Botanist Islay Dry Gin plus a bespoke herb planter, decorated with the same Latin botanicals that can be found on the bottle. The gift packs’ sustainable design means that the outer packaging can be filled with soil, providing a base for seeds to grow or as a stylish home for pre-potted plants. This gift-pack is a first for us: by creating packaging that can be reused, we hope to encourage people to both invest in and reconnect with nature.

NOSE
Immediately a bouquet of herbal freshness, juniper and sweet citrus come to the fore.

PALATE
Rich and mellow, cool on entry then warming
across the palate, stimulating the taste buds with a
round mouthfeel and citrus freshness. The balance
and complexity are distinctive.

FINISH
Relaxed and balanced. Water mint, hawthorn,
wood sage, sweet cicely, cinnamon, citrus, soft
juniper – a harmonious combination held together
with a gentle, satin soft texture.

How we like to drink it

THE ELDERFLOWER & MINT MARTINI

50ml The Botanist Gin
10ml dry vermouth
5ml elderflower liqueur
Sprig of mint

Stir ingredients with plenty of ice in a mixing jug. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with fresh mint.
