Polish Hill River, Clare Valley, South Australia

The Clare Valley - in particular the hallowed halls of Polish Hill River - has been able to provide this Fiano an almost tropical quality due to the warmer days it sees without sacrificing its famous minerality that's become the trademark of the high acid whites the region produces.

Slate Farm has always been the ‘drink now’ Fiano in our 'Untamed' Range, with plenty of that tropical vibrancy that makes it so smashable. Great pineapple tang to it, lime zest with a slatey, clean edge finish. It's a weapons-grade food pairing - seriously, if you haven't had Slate Farm with Tacos you have not lived. An “if you like Pina Coladas” kinda wine. We do.

The Riverland brings the fun to this wine, with a lot of pineapple and ripe tropical fruit, but there’s a salinity to it to bring outrageous refreshment. Although, the real joy of this wine is the svelte, almost waxy, oily texture – a hallmark of Fiano in full effect here.
