This wine is produced in Portalegre, in the northeastern part of Alentejo, in an area located at the foot of the São Mamede granite mountain. The combination of cool, high-altitude grapes and granite soil results in an elegant wine with structure, intense aromas, and freshness.
After destemming and slight crushing, the grapes ferment in small 4-ton stainless steel tanks, with regular pumping over and one-way draining, maintaining a temperature of 23-25°C. The wine is aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks and old oak barrels. This wine pairs well with rich and textured foods such as grilled meats, roast beef, and cheese.
Alcohol content: 14.5% / 750 milliliters.
