Lubanzi Rosé Bubbles

Rosé Bubbles in a bottle, what better accompaniment to a warm, sunny afternoon is there? Almost a year ago, we picked some gorgeous Cinsault grapes on a hot summer morning in the Swartland. After a whole-bunch press and some limited skin maceration this rose-tinted beauty set off on its fermentation journey and before we knew it -- this puppy was born. It’s a one man band of fresh strawberry and cherry notes that come together to produce a sweet summer song.

100% Cinsault.

Unico Zelo Pastafarian Nebbiolo 2021

There is a bit of a shift this year for Pastafarian, with the inclusion of Sangiovese! The ultimate pasta variety, it must be said. Ask Brendan, we’ve long been critical of Sangiovese’s future in Australia, but after some recent encounters with other producers' expressions of the variety (Hi Sven), we’ve jumped on the bandwagon. Lucky for us, it wasn’t far from home, as the fruit is from the lovely Polish Hill River Vineyard. Still, this wine is Nebbiolo through and through, and it’s the perfect marriage with Slovenian Oak for a perfumed, blue fruited and savoury structured Langhe-style Nebb. A touch of Merlot and Nero to add somebody (and a nice little spice too!). Top shelf here, finding an identity all of its own. Great wine.

Minimum Sangio Syrah Cabernet 2019

Minimum Wines grow their grapes on 125-acre vineyard near Toolamba, on the Goulburn River in Victoria, which is certified organic and uses regenerative principles. They will never use synthetic inputs and only add naturally derived inputs where needed to help improve soil microbiology, nutrient cycling, carbon sequestration and vine health. A mindful wines, made for humans. With respect for the land they come from, and the people who drink them.

A ready-to-drink, light/medium wine. Cherries, berries & warming spices. 40% wild-fermented, heavy skin contact. Stored on lees in-barrel for 8 months. Low sulphur.

40% Sangiovese + 30% Syrah + 30% Cab Sauv.

Wild-fermented. It is also certified organic and certified vegan.
