Bordered by the Pyrenees mountains to the south (which channel cooling breezes from the Atlantic) and the Mediterranean to the east (with its warm summer temperatures) the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France is wonderfully located to produce world class wines. The environmental attributes are important, as the colder Atlantic influence is vital if you want crisp Sauvignon Blanc and they compliment the fabulous wine making team at Château Canet helping to craft their magic!

We love the wines from Château Canet and this elegant example is no different. It can be enjoyed on its own or with food and it pairs perfectly with any seafood, roasted vegetables, white meat or softer cheeses. As a favourite pick… we’d have to go with something like barbecued Sea Bass served with buttered greens. Beautiful.
